Welcome to the 2022 PacNW Summer Blast Off!

(Formerly the Federal Way Blast Off)

August 5th-7th (ages U9-U19)

As you might have heard, PacNW Soccer Club and Federal Way Soccer Association have partnered together starting in the 2022-2023 season. PacNW, while continuing to host our PacNW Winter Classic in January, is excited to offer a spectacular summer tournament option. We are thrilled to announce that the Blast Off tournament that everyone knows, and loves, will be continuing under this new partnership!

The PacNW Summer Blast Off is based out of the Celebration Park Complex in Federal Way, with added support from our surrounding field complexes throughout the city.  The PacNW Summer Blast Off tournament headquarters will be located at the Celebration Park Complex.

The 3-day tourney will be held August 5-7, 2022  (Age groups 2004-2014). Registration closes August 1st, 2022.

We will continue to utilize the online team registration option to help Managers with Check-In.  This will hopefully save time trying to get your teams checked-in prior to the start of the event.  We will continue to use the EventConnect App for scoring/schedules/information.

We are looking forward to preserving, and building upon, the 40-year legacy of the Blast Off tournament in the city of Federal Way!

NO TEAM REFUND POLICY – There will be no refunds upon receipt of approval into the tournament. This policy is enforced because there are those few teams that withdraw without just cause before, during and after the schedules we post. The 1% of applicants withdrawing, this way, cause the responsible 99% scheduled tremendous grief due to multiple schedule changes.

TOURNAMENT CANCELLATION POLICY – In the event of inclement weather or circumstances out of the tournaments control causing a Full Event Cancellation, PacNW may refund a maximum of 75% of the Tournament Registration Fees.

PacNW Summer BLAST OFF Tournament

How do teams get better in the summer? Games with good competition. Blast Off has traditionally been the tournament of choice for teams looking to make sure they are at their best come the beginning of the fall league season.

Tournament Schedule

• Friday: 100% of the teams will play a single game. Games will begin after 10 a.m on Friday.   We will consider requests for later games for teams traveling 3+ hours
• Saturday: Games will be from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
• Sunday: All Finals are held on Sunday.  The games will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Benefits of Participating Include:

• First place bracket champions will receive medals for each player and a team trophy.
• Second place will receive Finalists medals for each player.
• Great Competition – We pride ourselves on taking the extra steps necessary to group teams according to level of play to assure balanced competition.
• All games will be played in the City of Federal Way. Fields are conveniently located to restaurants, shopping, and great hotels.
• Flexible Scheduling – We do our best to accommodate all special requests (coaches with two teams, late starts, and more.)
• Great Fields – All games will be played on year-round maintained grass fields or Field Turf fields.
• Free Parking.
• Affordable Registration.

2021 was a fantastic weekend of soccer in Federal Way!  So great to see all the players having fun and competing out on the pitch.  It’s always fun to see teams from all over Washington and we thank everyone for helping to make this such a fantastic event!
